"Zip 9210" DESCRIPTION

"Zip 9210" can be used to work with .ZIP archives directly on Nokia 9200 Series communicators and compatible devices.

1. Installation.
"Zip 9210" is delivered as a single .SIS file and can be installed in two ways:
* from a desktop PC (Windows 95 or greater, free serial COM port, installed PC Suite for Nokia 9210 Communicator)
* directly on Communicator, where the installation file was copied to.

Installing from desktop PC:
1. Connect Nokia 9210 to the PC and wait while serial connection is established (when PC Suite indicator in system tray of the Windows Taskbar stops flashing).
2. Run the Zip9210.SIS file.
3. Wait while the installation file is copied to Nokia 9210 by install program.
4. Press Install anyway button in the “Installation security warning” window, thess press Next> button.
5. Select disk to install to in the  “Select Disk” window and press Next>.
6. Wait for the files to be copied to device. Press Finish when copying is complete.

Installing directly on a Communicator (from Memory card or internal disk):
1. Copy Zip9210.SIS file to Communicator using PC Suite or download it via Internet directly onto your Nokia 9210.
2. Press Office button and run File Manager. Select Zip9210.SIS file and press Open button or enter on the keyboard. This will launch the installer program. Or, open Control Panel->Install/Remove, press Install new button, select Zip9210.SIS file and press OK.
3. Press Install button to continue, then press OK.
4. Select disk to install to from “Select Location for ‘Zip 9210’” list and press Select, then press ÎĘ.
5. Wait for installation to finish. Press OK when prompted.

2. Working with ZIP 9210.

After you install Zip 9210 all *.ZIP archive files will have Zip 9210 icon in the File Manager. To open archive, select it in the File Manager and press Open button or Enter on the keyboard. To create new archive, select Zip 9210 icon in Extras and press Open or Enter on the keyboard, then select Create from File menu.
Use menu and toolbar to perform tasks with archive files.

3. Removal.

"Zip 9210" is removed in a normal way.

1. Open Control Panel by any of the following means:
* select Control Panel from Tools menu in the Home application.
* press Extras, then open Control Panel
* press Ctrl-Shift-C in the Home application
2. Select Install/Remove in the Control Panel and press Enter or Open button.
5. Select "Zip 9210" item from "Install/Remove software" list.
6. Press Remove button or Del on the keyboard. Press OK to continue.
7. Wait while program files are removed. Press OK when prompted.
